After successfully hosting the 79th Skal International Congress last year in Mombasa, there has been an increase in number of new inquiries by international visitors who are coming to Kenya for holiday.
Skal International comprises tourism industry professionals with each country having its own set of clubs at national and regional levels.
Speaking at the Flamingo by PrideInn Beach Resort & Spa, Mombasa County, Skal Kenya Coast President, Mr. Victor Shitakah said that delegates from around the world who attended the week long annual Skal conference served as good ambassadors for the country.
He said this during a ‘thank you’ cocktail organized by Skal Kenya on behalf of Skal International for praising the organizations and key individuals who came together to support the event.
Skal Kenya International Counsellor Ms. Julie Dabally Scott praised the national and county government of Mombasa for making it possible for Skal Kenya to host the event.
She urged tourism industry players to strive hard and ensure that gains from the successful hosting fetch more tourists for Kenya.
